There are countless treasures to be found on this beach! See how many you can find before the timer runs out.

How to play:

  • Look at the map in the top right corner
  • Click on the beach where the X on the map is!
  • The shovel takes a bit of time to dig, but if you found the right spot a new beach a new map will be generated and the loop continues until the timer runs out.

Originally made in 3 hours (excluding planning) for Trijam #267. The jam version is still available for download below.

The updated version has improved UI graphics and more animations. It also features some light rebalancing making it possible for skilled players to reach higher scores. These updates took around 4 additional hours to implement.

All sounds, assets and code by me (solo dev).

Great arcade game. I liked the level generation and the pleasant soundtrack:)

Thanks! An update is coming on Wednesday!

This was very soothing.

I'm glad you liked it!

Cool game and it worked well on my phone, really smart to use generation for more content with less time:)

Small bug - after losing you can still dig and get score as long as treasure isnt behind "Try Again" button

Thanks! You must have a beefier phone then me then because it lags on lot on mine, but good to know! Thanks for reporting the bug, it will be fixed in a later update along with some better animation and UI art.

Oh hey, this is super clever! I love that it's endlessly playable and I love digging up treasure. The timer adds an awesome tension to browsing the screen for the spot.

Thanks Beth! After judging of the jam ends I'll immediately post an update bringing satisfying animations and some new content to the game!

Oh nice, that sounds awesome!

Fun little game! Nicely done considering the time constraint! How many levels are there? Is it endless?

Thanks! It's endless with procedurally placed objects, then the map is generated based on that. (Picks a point for the X and then checks all nearby objects, there have to be at least 3 for it to be a valid spot)

I Really liked it ! the concept is really nice :)

Thanks!
