Braceletz
Braceletz
In this gem-matching game you spin rings instead of moving the gems directly as you would do in similar games. This prototype has 10 levels + endless mode. How far can you get?
This game was made as a school project during 2021-2022. I hope you like it!

I really like this game, it's a very creative idea for a matching game, and requires a good amount of skill. One suggestion I would have to improve controls is to let you take back a decision while your cursor is still held down, and confirm by letting go, that way if you rotated a different piece by accident, you could correct it. That's just an idea though. Cool game!
Thanks! Glad you liked it. Your idea would be a nice way to fix some of the control problems, although it wouldn't work when you do quick swipes sadly. I'm happy that people are still finding this older project!
I'll try implementing your idea if I ever take time to improve on the game!
This is a really interesting mechanic! It feels so intuitive, so I'm a little surprised I haven't seen a game that uses this before. Good work!
Edit: oh also I kinda wish there was a Zen mode, where the crystals never crack.
Thank you for the feedback! A Zen mode would be an fun idea for sure!
I have a question for you: How did you feel about the controls? Where they responsive enough?
Most of the time, the controls work fine, but I did occasionally have trouble with rings rotating the wrong direction.
